Chocolate, vanilla, banana, strawberry. All of these are probably familiar to the reader, but would you have guessed that this is just the tip of the iceberg? The biscuit, caramel and forest fruit flavours are almost still just the basics, and our article would be too long to list all the hundreds of flavours or flavour combinations.
Making these products is perhaps the most skilled task of all, which is why the company holds in high esteem the craftsmen who can make the tiny little dragees inside the straws. It all starts with sugar, then you need a little more sugar...and once you have all that, a little more sugar...flavouring and a little colouring, and of course a journeyman to oversee the process and add the ingredients.
At the end of the process you get the little dragees that melt so easily in the milk. The finished dragees are left to rest and can then be packaged. The packaging is done by a combination of machines developed for this purpose and manpower. Whether the product is packed in a naturally degradable or a normal straw is the customer's individual preference.
It sounds easy, but it's not, and the results are magical!
